There will be a Fourth of July Parade at Anthem Saturday starting at 9am. It will run along Merrill Ranch Pkwy and American Way towards the school. Afterwards there will be a program with the Boy Scouts, awards ceremony, a community choir and other solo musicians ... there will be bounce houses and food for purchase and other fun to be had. There are 35 entries this year in various categories: classic cars, golf carts, kids, (including Ian ...nudge, nudge) and others. The newly elected Sherrif will be the Grand Marshall ... with the Mayor, Fire Chief and someone else judging the parade entries. They will also be tossing candy to the crowds.
So... if you're looking for a fun way to kick of your Fourth of July celebrations, head on over to Anthem.
