Do you have a child who wants to learn to play the piano? Or know someone who does? I'm offering beginning piano lessons to a limited number of students for $20/month (four 30 minute lessons.)

Movie Tickets for Thurs May 28th @ 9:45am

I have three tickets to the kids Summer Movie Fun at Harkins Casa Grande for TOMORROW, Thursday, May 28th. Adults must be accompanied by a child. :) I can't use them, but if you have a couple of kids and no plans for tomorrow morning, let me know and they're yours. I've noted below the weeks we can't use our tickets because of schedule conflicts

If you don't want to buy the package, you can always go the day of and they'll sell available seats for $2.

High Chair Wanted

Dog House

We have an outdoor doghouse that is not being used by the dog ... would love for it to be of good use for another family's pup who might enjoy some summer shade. :) It's plastic resin - tan with green roof with plastic flaps at the door.

There is a coupon for free strawberries on http://www.safeway.com/ifl/grocery/Weekly-Specials Just click on coupons and there is a coupon for FREE 1 lb. strawberries - you can actually print it twice. You have to spend a minimum of $10 at safeway to use it.

CANNERY ORDERS

Just a reminder: cannery orders are due May 29th. Pick up date is June 27th.

You can order cannery food storage online. Go to lds.org, click on "home and family", then click on "Family home storage." Go to the right of the page and click on "Home storage, center order form," look for and click on "Home storage order form-United States." These forms can be filled out, saved and printed from the website. Once it is saved it can be emailed as an attachment to the canning specialist at jimg@bulwarkpest.com or alicegietler@aol.com or simply fill it out, print 2 copies and turn one in to Alice or Jim Gietler on Sunday.

The stake has asked that your order be picked up by you, paid for at the cannery and you MUST have your copy of the order form with you. If you do not have your order form the cannery will not fill your order.

We invite you to take advantage of this opportunity to build your food storage. Whether you use the cannery or have other means of storage, how blessed we will be by following the counsel of our leaders.

The following sounds like a fun recipe from Sister Barnett from the Stake Center:

MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

1 mug
4 tbsp flour
4 tbsp sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp oil
splash of vanilla
2 tbsp baking cocoa
3 tbsp milk
3 tbsp chocolate chips

Add dry ingredients to mub and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips and vanilla and mix again. Put your mug into the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 100 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little and tip onto a plate. Serves one or two if you're willing to share!

Alice Gietler has a couple of black tables, they no longer need. If you are interested please give her a call directly. The lower one is @5"by5" and the taller is @3"x3". These need some tightening on the legs and probably a little paint. Free for the asking.

Dermatologist?

Does anybody know of a dermatologist who would work well with a three year old? My pediatrician says that my daughter needs to get a mole on her arm removed, but I can only imagine that it will be tricky with someone this age. Thanks!

Zucchini, squash, peaches

Neil plants to share!!! We have lots and lots of zucchini and yellow crookneck squash. You can steam it, bake it, fry it. You can even shred the zucchini for zucchini bread.
