Community Clean-Up Day

Community Clean-Up Day is April 4th
The Town of Florence is hosting another Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 4th. This is a great opportunity to clean up your property and bring your old debris or garbage to the free drop-off site. The free drop-off site is provided by the Town of Florence and is located next to Heritage Park, located at 600 North Main Street or west of Florence Town Hall. Items are accepted from 7am to 1pm on Saturday only. To drop off unwanted items, you must be a Florence resident and live within the boundaries of Florence. Please bring a drivers license, utility bill or other documentation that can verify your home address is in Florence. This is a great opportunity to clean-up your property and dispose of garbage, old appliances, tires, landscape material or other materials. To make this a successful event, the Town is partnering with R&B Demolition Services of Florence and Heritage Environmental of Coolidge. R&B Demolition Services will accept used tires and metals. Heritage Environmental will accept hazardous household waste products like oil, paint, batteries, electronic devices, and household chemicals. The Town of Florence will provide dumpsters where you can dispose of general garbage materials. To get to the drop-off site from Main Street and Ruggles Street, travel north and look for the signs directing traffic at Heritage Park. If you have any questions about the free drop-off site, contact Jess Knudson at the Town of Florence at 868-7541.
